BUFFALO BAYOU PARTNERSHIP

TVP first partnered with the BBP in the Spring of 2012 to help bring awareness to the mission of revitalizing the Buffalo Bayou, Houston's most significant natural resource. We are extremely excited to be working with the BBP, the first non-profit we work with that is exclusively devoted to protecting and revitalizing natural resources. Plus are there two cooler words in the English language than "Buffalo" and "Bayou?" Now we get to put them together to make some great designs!

What could be more important than protecting the natural resources of America's top cities? The mystical land known as Buffalo Bayou is filled with parks, hiking and biking trails, canoeing and kayaking trips, and some of the craziest vegetation in any park in a major urban area. Our only regret is that we don't get to frolic in the Bayou each weekend!

Created in 1986, the BBP is a coalition of civic, environmental, governmental and business representatives whose director nominees are confirmed by the Mayor of Houston and Harris County Judge. For a quarter century BBP has been actively pursuing plans and revitalizing a 10-mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou. Major accomplishments include Sesquicentennial Park, Allen's Landing, Sabine Promenade, hike and bike trails, and more land acquisition for future growth.
